Maintaining your balance ensures that you stay confident and safe. The balance classes now offered at JT are provided to help you learn exercises that will ultimately strengthen you and keep you independent for a longer period of time. These exercises can be done standing or in a seated position.

The Nintendo Wii game console is not only for young players - it's for the young at heart! We have recently purchased Wii Balance games, which use modern technology to asses your balance skills and grow them more and more with each use. Join us for a game on the Wii, you'll have fun and get active in a new way!

The Signature Lifestyle & Wellness Program has brought forth a wonderful relationship between Jacaranda Trace and the YMCA. Together, they offer Lunch & Learn sessions throughout the year in JT's very own stunning Dining Room. The topic of the most recent Lunch & Learn was "What To Do If A Heart Attack Happens". Heart health is vital, and learning how to prevent, asses and react to such an event is exactly what events like this help our residents with. A light and healthy lunch was also offered along with recipes everyone could take home!

Enjoy the Florida sunshine and great outdoors while riding the surrey. This unique cycle allows up to six people at a time to ride down scenic Legacy Trail all while under the comfort of a shady canopy which is attached. Residents enjoy the views of the park and the comfort of riding as a group.

J Tee Women's Golf Group gets together weekly for a game at Jacaranda West Golf & Country Club or Plantation Golf & Country Club. There is nothing like being on the green in the Florida sunshine, playing a round of your favorite sport. This truly is a favorite pastime of our residents, and they'd love for you to join them sometime!

We have a number of talented athletes on campus, and they rule the green! The Men of Jacaranda Trace come together for a game on the lush golf courses of Jacaranda West Golf & Country Club.
