Our residents got a real view of one of Florida's most well known natural preserves this past Saturday. They visited the Florida Everglades! The Everglades are an American swampland, brimming with endangered animal and plant-life. They enjoyed an air-boat ride, delicious lunch, and a scenic tour of the islands. A trip down to an old Florida town was just what our Jacaranda Trace residents needed on a November morning. With a meal at a home-style restaurant, a docent tour at multiple museums, and a scenic drive down historic country routes, the day couldn't have gone better! Arts & Leisure schedules extended day trips, like this one to Pine Island, all throughout the year. Our residents always enjoy learning about the historical surroundings Florida offers.
