Murder Mystery Night was an evening of enchantment and excitement! Each residents posed as a detective, trying to solve the mystery of who was the "murderer on the green." Live actors portrayed the story of a millionaire slain on the golf course - but who did it? By the last course, many thought they had gotten to the bottom of this crime! The red carpet was brimming with excitement as our JT stars and starlets had their photo taken by the paparazzi. Many looked dashing in their tuxedos and evening gowns! Inside, a montage of Hollywood's most classic films played in the background, and guests dined on an array of heavy hors d'oeuvres. Later in the evening, Rashaun Hammond (better known for his role as a Lost Boy  in Steven Spielberg's Hook) graced the stage to entertain the audience with song, dance and mesmerizing magic! The Antique Car Show and Sock Hop was a great success! Residents had a blast as they took a look at classic antique cars around our very own Hoover Pond (much thanks to The Antique Automobile Car Association). The morning and early afternoon were filled with root beer floats, classic soda fountain selections, and 1950s trivia. The Auditorium was decked in 1950s themed accessories, with records adorning the windows and classic car models on each table. Diner-style cheeseburgers were a hit, as was the dance floor as many got out of their seats to do the Twist!

Each quarter of the year, Arts & Leisure organizes a fabulous themed event with live entertainment, cocktails and a delicious meal. In October, we will be hosting a 50s Sock Hop and Antique Car Show. The car show will take place around our very own Hoover Pond, while the Soda Fountain, games and prizes, DJ and dining experience will take place in the Clubhouse. The entire Auditorium will be transformed into a retro, car-hopping, record playing, diner-styled sock-hop! The Decorating Committee has been hard at work, along with Arts & Leisure, assembling table centerpieces, stage decor, and other 50s inspired embellishments. It will all be worth it when our residents have a "neat" experience going back in time!

Each quarter, Arts & Leisure presents an themed evening of entertainment, delicious gourmet dining, top-notch decor and more. The Nautical Escape was one of the finest events yet! Residents attended dressed as fishermen, sailors and Maine locals. The menu was spectacular, as it included Bangor Lobster, Nantucket Grilled Halibut Steaks, and Providence Chocolate Bread Pudding, to name a few. Residents posed for a photo next to the lighthouse to get the full nautical effect of the evening.
