Wellness at Jacaranda Trace includes options for enhancing not only physical fitness but for mental, spiritual and social growth as well.

Our Fitness Center is equipped with weight lifting and cardio machines and our schedule of classes includes personal instruction in exercise regimes, yoga, Tai Chi, aerobics, water aerobics and a full schedule of stimulating and educational workshops. Whether you prefer a brisk swim in our pool or simply a leisurely walk with friends on our beautifully landscaped grounds, wellness can be individualized to meet your needs. Choose line dancing or square dancing to keep fit and stay hip! Optimize your potential among friends who enjoy the same interests. Or if you prefer, revive old hobbies with new friends by starting your own clubs. Our staff is here to help promote your wellness whether it's in the gym or in the lecture hall.

For residents who need an extra hand in assistance, our partnership nursing staff, home health aides, therapists and companions are available to help with a comprehensive spectrum of services including:

Rehabilitation

Paragon Rehabilitation, Inc. is dedicated to partnering with Jacaranda Trace to provide on-site quality care today and into the future, with the attentive and personalized customer service our residents expect. Paragon Rehab provides a comprehensive Rehab Program consisting of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech/Language Pathology services directed by an on-site Rehabilitation Coordinator. If the need arises for these services, Paragon Rehab's facility is right here at Jacaranda Trace.

Jacaranda Trace and the YMCA have partnered to develop an exciting program to enrich the lives of seniors. The Signature Lifestyle and Wellness Program experience provides a positive influence to every aspect of your life. You will enjoy all the benefits and privileges offered as a Club Member at Jacaranda Trace, as well as all the wonderful services provided at the Venice YMCA. We continue to strive to be the finest retirement community on the West Coast of Florida.

Dining

Enjoy gourmet dining with friends in one of our elegant formal dining rooms with enchanting views of Hoover Pond, or dine more casually in The Bistro, with its open grill and poolside view. Meet your friends in the piano lounge for cocktails before dinner. Our gracious staff is always there to assist in any way possible to make your dining experience a memorable one. Accommodations for private functions and special celebrations are also available in our private dining room.

Your chariot awaits at Jacaranda Trace! Whether it be an outing to the mall, a trip to the pharmacist, an important doctor appointment, or a night out at the theatre, our expedient, courteous community transportation service is ready, willing, and able to get you there.

Housekeeping

At Jacaranda Trace you have a choice of housekeeping plans to fit your individual needs. Prices vary depending on the square footage of your residence and you choose the frequency – either weekly or bi-weekly. If you like to do the housekeeping yourself, that is an option, too.
